The CMM-G unit is specifically engineered for the purpose of oil change in wind turbine gearboxes, encompassing activities such as draining, flushing, and refilling. Additionally, the CMM-G has the capability to preheat and purify oil before replenishing the gearbox if required. A notable feature of this model is its adaptability, ensuring alignment of overall dimensions with those of the customer’s trailer.

This equipment is proficient in handling both mineral and synthetic oils with the following specifications:

  • Kinematic viscosity at 40°C, mm2/s: 8-320
  • Density at 20°C, kg/m3: 800-900
  • ISO6 4406 purity class: 14 minimum

Operational Principles

The CMM-G unit offers versatility through six operation modes:

  1. Filling the gearbox with clean oil
  2. Pumping used oil out of the gearbox
  3. Heating oil before filling the gearbox
  4. Draining used oil from the CMM-G unit
  5. Washing the gearbox internally with flushing oil
  6. Pumping oil from tank to tank

Power can be supplied to the unit using either the built-in generator or an external three-phase alternating current network. It is important to note that activating the generator will block the possibility of the unit functioning in multiple modes simultaneously.
